Still very new course and will improve a lot over the next year or two. Challenging and fun layout with a few holes that are very memorable. Two, specifically, that are incomparable in the area, number 12, a challenging par three across a deep ravine with a winding cart path through the woods and 18, a short par 4 across a large pond(high risk reward ratio). Still a few areas to improve on, but overall, a great course for the investment.

After they added the back nine to the course, I gathered a foursome of friends and we came to play. Once arriving at the golf course one of the first things we noticed was that the fairways were rough , spotty and weed filled. The greens on the other hand were fast undulating and would not hold any shots that were hit into them, and you could not play roll up golf as the fairways were just too rough, and your ball would just carom off of the rough bunches of turf, like playing pinball. We decided that was just from being new, finished the round and made plans to come back later in the year. We came back later in the year to find the same conditions as early on in the year, and decided to give it another chance the next year. I have been going back several times a year to see if there has been any progress. After playing there today and hitting shot after shot off of the lumpy bumpy weed filled bare spotted fairways, I can honestly say that there has been little progress in the last few years. This is of course unfortunate, as this is a nice layout and it could be the golf course that the owners had envisioned when they took over this course. I must say however that for the price, green fees and a cart 20.00 all day, and you did not play the ball down, then you could have a great time. Sadly I want more from my golfing experience. I will go back there later in the year to give this course another chance at greatness, but I am not going to hold out as much hope as I have in the past.
